🏁 Race Registration

Pre-registration is posted to the CFMC website and social media at least 45 days before each event. Registration is limited to 150 riders. If the event doesn't sell out, onsite registration is available on race day (cash only). Register online at cfmc.club/racing/register.

The Black Bear ISDE (formerly Black Bear Enduro) is CFMC's signature NMA-sanctioned enduro race held at Grizzly Heights in McCleary, WA. It's an ISDE-style event with a long course (approximately 60 miles) and a short course (approximately 25–30 miles). The Black Bear has won the NMA Enduro Event of the Year award multiple times, including 2009, 2010, and 2013 through 2015.

Anyone is welcome to come ride for fun. However, to be scored for NMA series points, you must have an active NMA membership and a current NMA competition license ($30 for all series). You can purchase both at nmaoffroad.org.

Riders meeting is at 8:30 AM. All riders must be checked in at the registration trailer no later than 8:30 AM. Sound checks and spark arrestor inspections happen before the start.

Yes. Spark arrestors are strictly enforced at all CFMC races. Every registered rider's bike must pass a sound check and spark arrestor inspection before racing.

Grizzly Heights is a private property with gated access. For race events, participants have access on race day only. Camping is available for CFMC members but not for race-day-only visitors.

CFMC races are held at Grizzly Heights, the club's private 4,000+ acre property in McCleary, WA. The access point is off Highway 8 near mile marker 9. Detailed directions are provided when you register.

CFMC races use the ISDE-style format with timed race sections and transfer sections. Scorecards are stapled to your bike and stamped at each checkpoint. Results are entered into a scoring spreadsheet after the event and submitted to the NMA. Trophies are awarded to the top third of each class, up to 3rd place.
