Frequently Asked Questions

To join CFMC, you need a sponsor โ€” a current member in good standing who has been a member for at least 12 months. Your sponsor helps you through the prospect process. Start by contacting us at clubinfo@cfmc.club or reaching out through our Facebook page, and we'll connect you with a member who can sponsor you.
As a prospect, you must: attend 3 club meetings (at least 1 in person), attend 2 official work parties, go on 2 club rides with your sponsor or another member, attend 1 fireside hangout or campout, and submit a CFMC Site Release waiver. All requirements must be completed within the same calendar year. Once complete, you're voted in by the membership.
Annual dues are $300 per year, due by December 31. Payment is accepted via PayPal, Venmo, or debit/credit card (fees apply), or Zelle (no fees). Checks and cash are not accepted.
Yes, prospects must own a motorcycle. However, CFMC is a family club โ€” once you're a member, family members who don't ride are absolutely welcome. Many non-riders enjoy the property for camping, hiking, biking, and relaxing outdoors.
CFMC has a 75-family membership cap. We accept new prospects on a first-come, first-served basis as long as there are open spots. Contact us at clubinfo@cfmc.club to check current availability and get started.
Grizzly Heights is CFMC's private 4,000+ acre riding property in McCleary, WA, leased from Port Blakely Tree Farms. It features 60+ miles of member-built single track, gated entry for members only, terrain similar to Capitol Forest, primitive camping, 15 graveled RV spaces, kid-friendly beginner trails near the campground, and a community fire pit and covered picnic area.
NMA (Northwest Motorcycle Association) membership is included with your CFMC membership โ€” there's no separate sign-up or fee. CFMC has been an NMA charter club since 1973.
CFMC uses a contribution point system to ensure fair participation across all members. You need a minimum of 4.5 points per year: 2 points from meetings, 2 points from workdays, and 0.5 points from events. In-person meetings earn 1 point, Zoom meetings earn 0.5 points, and official work parties earn 1 point each.
