Every member contributes to trail stewardship as part of the club's annual contribution points requirement. It's one of the best parts of being in the club.

2012
πŸ• Dog with Bloody Face
Awarded to Marty Jorgenson
Awarded for cutting Rosie's tongue. Marty and Debbie were tree limbing at the club property and Marty was moving cut branches with his 16-inch samurai saw. Rosie was right behind him and he nicked the underside of her tongue. The trail is now known as the Dogs Tongue.
2011
β›½ Gas Can
Awarded to Dean Olive
Dean was at Tahuya getting ready for the Black Bear. Instead of unhooking his trailer to turn around, he tried it with the trailer hooked up. He nosed into a ditch and his whole truck slid down. Because the truck was pointed down and the fuel tank was empty, it would not start. Tim Swartz had to call Dean Dorsett to bring a jug of diesel and a tow rope.
2010
🫁 Lung
Awarded to Tim Swartz
Tim was racing the Frostbite in Odessa. Going too fast over a sleeper jump, he let go instead of riding it out. His chest hit the end of his bars. He rode one more lap to avoid a DNF, then drove home to the hospital where he stayed for 10 days at Harborview with a broken rib, punctured lung, and air leaking into his body.
2009
🌽 Quad with Corn
Awarded to Howard Ferguson
Awarded when he was working in a corn field maze and rolled his quad onto himself on a downhill turn.
2008
🎞️ Reel with picture
Awarded to Mark & Margo Swift
Both ended up over the edge at a work party at Capitol Forest. Those steep edges required lots of assistance getting both the bikes and themselves back on the trail.
2007
πŸ•ΆοΈ Blacked out sunglasses
Awarded to Roscoe Rainey
Crashed on the first turn of the Stump Jumpers White-Knuckle race at the first year it was held in Odessa. Super dusty, went into the corner blind, hit something that flipped him in the air. He narrowly avoided getting run over but broke his leg.
2006
πŸ‘€ Eyeballs
Awarded to Matt Williams
Pre-riding the Black Bear with no goggles (even after he was warned) and got a stick through his eye. He finished the ride and still swept the course later that day.
2005
πŸ… Lifetime achievement medallion
Awarded to Steve Hagerman
Nearly awarded the Boot many times over the years. Awarded as a Lifetime Achievement award.
2004
πŸͺž Rear view mirror
Awarded to Danny Lovell
Pre-riding at Capitol in front of Dean on a slippery day. Crossed a wooden bridge and almost flew off the side but managed to save it. Dean cheered, Danny looked back, and that ended his good fortune β€” off the side of the trail he went.
2003
πŸ’€ Grim Reaper with bandaged knee
Awarded to Dean Dorsett
Awarded for his own Death Ride mishap where he ended up injuring his knee.
